Our Story

In 1999 our family opened The Garden Post as just a part time business that we could all be involved in selling Christmas trees. Our boys were 11 and 12 and involved in school sports. Not only were they learning sportsmanship and teamwork but by working at the business they were learning work ethics and responsibility.

We expanded to selling portable storage buildings, carport shelters and metal structures and continued with Christmas tree sales.
We sold lots of buildings, metal structures and trees and met lots of people that became repeat customers and friends.

Due to medical issues we closed the business for a short while. Since we have both retired we decided to re-open the business.
Mitch retired from Robins Air Force Base after 20 years of service and Nancy retired from the Warner Robins Fire Department after 27 years of service. Adam and Brett both work at Robins Air Force Base and continue to work the business as well.
